Reservoir pool Cossebaude

The popular open-air swimming pool in Cossebaude with its 45,000 square meters swimming area stretches along the western city limits of Dresden directly at a reservoir. The spacious area with a wonderful, chestnut-fringed sunbathing lawn invites you to sunbathe and relax. In addition to the 485 square meter non-swimmer’s pool with water mushroom, a giant slide provides lots of bathing fun. An extra paddling pool with 180 square meters of surface area lures the very young guests into the cool water. The facility also offers a wide range of possibilities, among other things, visitors can try out various sports on the individual pitches. If you want, you can also have windsurfing lessons on the reservoir.

Nudist open air bath Dölzschen

On the western outskirts of Dresden, above the Plauenschen Grund, lies the historic Luftbad Dölzschen. The well-kept, today pure nudist facility in its natural green surroundings with a wonderful panoramic view of the city at its feet was opened as early as 1870 — inspired by a naturopathic association. At that time it presented itself as a pure air bath, today a water basin also entices to jump into the cool water. What has remained is the preference for nudism. In addition to a beautiful, spacious sunbathing lawn, the Dölzschen air bath has a 600 square meter water pool, divided into a swimmer and a non-swimmer area. The little bathing guests have a lot of fun in the water as well as on the lovingly designed and varied outdoor playground.

Outdoor pool Wostra

In the east of Dresden, not far from the Elbe cycle path, you will find the modernized outdoor pool Wostra. From the highest diving tower of the city in the open-air, the brave ones can dare to jump from the “Five”, “Three” or “One”. Swimmers swim their 50-meter lanes in the large combination pool. Non-swimmers and children will also get their money’s worth in the Wostra. The extensive, well-tended lawn invites you to relax and linger. A lovingly designed playground and a paddling pool with an elephant slide are a particular delight for our very young guests. Originally the open-air pool was built in 1930 on the initiative of the “Wochenend- und Strandbadgesellschaft” — hence the name “Wostra”.
