Reser­voir pool Cossebaude

The popular open-air swim­ming pool in Cossebaude with its 45,000 square meters swim­ming area stret­ches along the wes­tern city limits of Dresden directly at a reser­voir. The spa­cious area with a won­derful, chestnut-fringed sun­bathing lawn invites you to sun­bathe and relax. In addi­tion to the 485 square meter non-swimmer’s pool with water mush­room, a giant slide pro­vides lots of bathing fun. An extra paddling pool with 180 square meters of sur­face area lures the very young guests into the cool water. The faci­lity also offers a wide range of pos­si­bi­li­ties, among other things, visi­tors can try out various sports on the indi­vi­dual pit­ches. If you want, you can also have wind­sur­fing les­sons on the reservoir.

Bathing in Weißig

On the edge of the Dresdner Heide is the tra­di­tional Weißig bathing area. With its 4,000 square meters large natural bathing pond it invites you to cool off in summer. On the beau­tifully desi­gned, spa­cious sun­bathing lawn, visi­tors will find rest and rela­xa­tion. For children there is a lovingly desi­gned play­ground. Those who like sports can play table tennis on the tables.

Weixdorf bathing area

In the middle of gree­nery, on the nor­t­hern out­skirts of Dresden is the natural Weixdorf bathing area. This out­stan­ding faci­lity with a long tra­di­tion has a lot to offer. Whe­ther swim­ming or a walk around the lake — (almost) ever­y­body gets their money’s worth here. The exten­sive area is a very spe­cial address for nature lovers. A lovingly desi­gned adven­ture play­ground offers a lot of variety for our little guests. In the ori­gi­nally res­tored chan­ging rooms of a former Elbe bathing resort, visi­tors also embark on a journey into a time long past.

Waldbad Langebrück

The char­ming Waldbad in the former health resort of Langebrück is located on the edge of the local recrea­tion area Dresdner Heide. Family-fri­endly and natural, the out­door pool has a 4,000 square meter water sur­face and a sepa­rate water play­ground. In addi­tion, the little guests can whizz down a slope in a Flying Fox (cable car). The exten­sive bathing area is ideal for sporty active people. In addi­tion to a small soccer field, guests will find table tennis tables and a beach vol­ley­ball court. The well-kept faci­lity, which is inters­persed with trees and bushes, looks back on a history of more than 100 years and still pre­serves its idyllic cha­racter with con­stantly flowing forest spring water and many loving details.

Nudist beach resort Wostra

Directly on the beau­tiful Elbe cycle path, a little spot of the Baltic Sea is wai­ting in the middle of Dresden. In addi­tion to the out­door pool Wostra, the beach resort Wostra offers a lot that the bathing heart desires. Since 1982, the popular, purely nudist faci­lity has been located on a 20,000 square meter large, rena­tu­ra­lized gravel lake in the east of the city and gives its visi­tors a real vaca­tion fee­ling with fine sand, typical beach chairs and the exten­sive sun­bathing lawn.

Natural bath Mockritz

The idyllic natural swim­ming pool Mockritz is not only because of its won­derful loca­tion on the sou­thern out­skirts of the city a high­light among the open-air pools in Dresden. The bathing pond offers a lot of bathing fun with a wide slide and the foot­bridge. The out­door pool is fed with fresh water from the pro­tected springs of the Tiefen Börner. The moder­nized “Cold Spring” has a Kneipp faci­lity with two walk-through pools where the water tem­pe­ra­ture is bet­ween 10 and 13 degrees Cel­sius. A bathing area and a play­ground are espe­ci­ally exci­ting for small children. On the spa­cious lawn with its large stock of trees, every guest finds a shady spot and an indi­vi­dual retreat. If you want to be active, you can do sports on the fit­ness equip­ment provided.
